Telechips Code of Conduct for Suppliers
Supplier Pledge of Compliance with the CSR Code of Conduct
Telechips Inc. is a fabless semiconductor and solutions company with state-of-the-art design, processes, testing, quality, and marketing capabilities in the area of non-memory semiconductor chips and processors. We are committed to ensuring the timely supply of the products our customers require at competitive quality and prices. Based on the technical competencies we have accumulated thus far, we intend to do our part for the preservation of the Earth and its environment in our efforts as a sustainable enterprise. We exercise Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) business practices to retain the confidence and respect of all stakeholders.
Accordingly, our suppliers are urged to take part in these efforts towards sustainable hand-in-hand growth, by pledging ethical business operation practices through the provision of a safe work environment for workers, respecting the human rights of workers, and fulfilling our responsibility to the environment.
As supplier of Telechips Inc., hereby pledges to carry out the following in good faith to fulfill our corporate social responsibility.
1. Labor human rights
- 1.1 Prohibition of forced labor Workers shall not be forced to work against their will.
- 1.2 Prohibition of child labor Employment of children and youths under the age permitted by the applicable laws shall be prohibited.
- 1.3 Prohibition of discrimination Discrimination against workers on the basis of race, skin color, nationality, ethnicity, gender, religion, disability, etc. shall be prohibited.
- 1.4 Prohibition of harassment Sexual harassment or abuse, mental or physical coercion and other acts of violence against workers shall be prohibited.
- 1.5 Adherence to work hours Requirements of local laws relating to maximum work hours shall be complied with.
2. Occupational health and safety
- 2.1 Occupational safety Reasonable and effective occupational health and safety measures shall be implemented, and a safe and healthy work environment shall be guaranteed, providing workers with essential safety equipment, etc. in accordance with the related laws and statutes.
- 2.2 Emergency preparedness Potential emergencies and accidents shall be identified and assessed in advance, and emergency measures and response procedures shall be carried out to minimize damage therefrom.
- 2.3 Safety of facilities and equipment All hazardous or dangerous equipment and facilities shall be inspected regularly for safety in accordance with the laws and regulations, and physical protective devices, interlocks, etc. shall be provided for worker safety.
3. Protecting the environment
- 3.1 Protecting the environment Compliance with environmental laws and regulations Compliance with environment-related laws and regulations relating to the management and discarding of chemical substances and waste, recycling, industrial water management, control of greenhouse gas and atmospheric emissions, etc. shall be maintained.
- 3.2 Minimizing energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions Efforts shall be made to reduce fuel consumption and minimize greenhouse gas emissions through improvement of energy efficiency.
- 3.3 Management of hazardous materials Specific substances that are harmful to the environment or humans shall be managed separately through identification marks, labeling, etc. to ensure safety.
4. Ethical management
- 4.1 Transparency The supplier shall maintain mutual trust and cooperation through transparent and fair transactions.
- 4.2 Prohibition of unfair gains The supplier shall refrain from giving or receiving bribes, acts of corruption, acts of unfair gain, and embezzlement of any kind.
- 4.3 Information security Information and secrets related to Telechips Inc. obtained in the course of performing work shall not be leaked or disclosed to outside parties.
Management of Conflict Minerals
Telechips is committed to participating in the international effort to prohibit the use of minerals (such as tin, titanium, tungsten, and gold) produced in countries where conflicts are occurring, and is making efforts to establish a responsible supply chain management system.
