-Revenue rises 3.5% and operating profit surges 33% QoQ
- -Export growth continues in Japan, China, and wider Asia

Telechips has reported its Q3 2024 results, with revenues reaching 47.6 billion KRW and operating profit standing at 1.42 billion KRW, up 3.5% and 33% respectively from the previous quarter. However, a non-operating loss tied to an impairment of its Chips&Media equity led to a net loss of 9.7 billion KRW.
Building on its flagship infotainment application processors (APs), Telechips is making strong inroads into automotive semiconductor segments, including microcontroller units (MCUs), advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS), network gateway processors (NGWs), and AI accelerators. The company is stepping up its promotion of next-generation ADAS and digital cockpit SoCs on the global stage.
Q3's revenue growth was largely driven by strong exports of infotainment and cluster products in Japan, China, and other Asian markets. Telechips is also tightening collaborations with key OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers in markets with substantial potential, such as India and Europe, to bolster its international footprint. As part of this push, Telechips has been showcasing its offerings at leading industry events like Tech Day and CES. A highlight in 2023 was the closing of a supply contract with German automotive giant Continental for its “Dolphin 3” chip, marking a milestone in securing major European clients.
In a bid to cement its position in the global automotive semiconductor market, Telechips is moving swiftly to boost R&D capabilities and expand its talent pool at home and abroad in 2024, with plans to accelerate overseas sales growth to outpace domestic performance.
