Telechips announced on the 6th that it has been awarded the '100 Million Dollar Export Tower' in celebration of the 60th Trade Day.
The Korea Trade Association hosted the '60th Trade Day Commemoration Ceremony' with the theme '60 years of export and import, Korea leaping again' at COEX in Samseong-dong to encourage individuals and companies who have contributed to overcoming challenging global trade conditions this year and enhancing the nation's export competitiveness.
This year, Telechips was honored with the '100 Million Dollar Export Tower Award’.
The 'Export Tower' is awarded when a single corporation achieves an export performance that surpasses a specific range, setting a new record. Telechips, which recorded around 53.3 billion KRW in 2018, achieved 134 billion KRW in 2023, marking a 151% growth. Particularly, this year received high praise for significantly contributing to the expansion of national exports, recording "the highest quarterly performance ever" in the third quarter, including a significant increase in the export share of Asian regions, including Japan.
Established in 1999, Telechips has grown into a comprehensive semiconductor company for vehicles beyond its flagship product, In-Vehicle Infotainment Application (IVI AP).
