Seoul, Korea, February 3, 2016 - Telechips Inc., a leading supplier of automotive application processor products (TCC800x, TCC801x, TCC893x, TCC897x) for Display-Audio and AVN products, introduces a competitive SoC product line and targets new applications of Telematics and Cluster.
According to Techno Systems Research Co., Ltd., the Display-Audio market is expected to grow from approximately 19 million units in 2015 to 30 million units in 2018. "We plan to take part in this positive development with our new cost-effective SoC, TCC8020 (Mass Production: 2016 1H), boosted by AM3D technology", said Yongkwon Lee, Marketing VP of Telechips Inc.
Telechips has a very successful track record within the car segment (car audio and AVN) and by adding AM3D`s audio enhancement software combined with SDR (Software Defined Radio) for various global audio standard signal processing, the market demands for a better audio experience are met.
AM3D technology not only enables Telechips to deliver an intelligent automotive SoC with premium sound, new audio system components have been developed specifically for Telechips. This means audio is part of the car design with e.g. door open sounds and parking alerts.
